He has a unique blend of experience from the perspectives of the enterprise (including IT, HR, Procurement, Finance, and Legal), the staffing supplier, the independent contractor, and the solution provider (services and technology).
Through consulting, Brian has helped Corporate Customers, from start-up through Fortune 100, and Service/Solution Providers, providing advice, counsel, and specific process and technology solutions relating to Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) and ancillary services. This includes business analysis, solution selection and implementation, service delivery, risk management, Independent Contractor compliance, payroll solutions, and company acquisition due-diligence.
From the practical "real world" perspective, Brian was most recently Director of Client Services for an integrated Contingent Workforce Management, Payroll, and Compliance company which serves several high profile hi-tech, communications, and financial clients. Besides managing specific client accounts he effectively worked with the improvement of CWM practices/processes and program capabilities both internal and external.
Brian has also served as the Regional Vice President for a leading Human Capital Management/Vendor Management System company, responsible for technology and service delivery for the West/Southwest region. This responsibility included service development, implementation, on-going operations, and consultation for multiple, complex client engagements.
Prior to that, he was the principal creator of initial product requirements for one of the pioneers in the field of technology based contractor/services acquisition and vendor management, where he also developed and directed their consulting and implementation services.
While at a major California telecommunications company he directed all operational and strategic planning aspects of contingent workforce management within the technology sector, leading a profitable restructuring of a multi-organizational contractor management process. His work in the area of legal compliance and resulting policies is still reflected at the national corporate level.
